About Rachel

I have had a passion for photography since I was a little girl following my mom around on her photo shoots.

She taught me how to take timeless and natural photos, illustrating the love and emotion of the moment. Alison DeMoss started the company, In His Image Photography. I took over the business 11 years ago. I am thankful for the opportunity to carry on the family business. We have documented hundreds of weddings and still shoot most weddings together.

I started taking pictures as a hobby in high school, 19 years ago. I had amazing teachers and mentors. My mom, a high school art teacher and college art professor, taught me about composition and lighting, but more importantly how to tell a story in a moment.

My goal is for every photograph I share to be full of emotion and history. When you look at your photos, I want them to represent that decisive moment in your life, and to experience again the love, joy, and honesty that created it.
